This is the next in an ongoing series explaining and illustrating the collaboration between the Mokuhankan printmaking venture and the old Doi Hanga publishing house.
This episode shows the process of printing our newest edition - 'Lake Kawaguchi', designed by Kawase Hasui, and originally published in 1932. You will see young Ayumi Ohashi take it from a blank sheet of paper to the finished print.
