Those who occasionally peek toward the sky from Midgard's Earth tend to think of Thor as a hero, a warrior, a God of Thunder! ...But could Marvel's "strongest Avenger" be hiding something more sinister beneath his charismatic grin that he's mastered? Depending on who you ask and how you approach the question, you might be surprised. Some people throughout the universe are terrified of him. Or appalled. And they aren't without their reasons. Or are they? How do one thousand years of hero work stack up against all of the blood that heaven has on its hands? Today, we make a case once and for all. And by the end we will finally know... Everyone in Metropolis looks up in the sky. Sometimes we see him, sometimes we dont. But we always know hes around. Metropolis Citizen
Its not a bird... Its not a plane...
Sure, we all know Superman can fly, but does anyone know how? In most interpretations, Kel-El seems to just reach his arms upward and start propelling through the air without any real explanation. People tend to just shrug their shoulders and say, Hes an alien or Its a comic book, but there may be more science to this fiction than everyone realizes. What are the chances that someone could REALLY fly through the stars without a jet or a wing? Do you need to be from another planet or have a different biology to shrug off the laws of gravity? Reality is always throwing us curve balls, and we at Sup Sci are ready for the pitch. Has Superman just been flying for so long that no one questions it anymore?
