I havent heard anyone articulate my main problem with this election, so I thought Id share my ideas.
Note: I am not as much FOR Obama as I am AGAINST McCain. Yes, I believe some 3rd party candidates would be a MUCH better choice than Obama, but the fact of the matter is, voting for them increases the probability of McCain winning. As such, Ive decided to ONLY address the two candidates with a snowball's chance in hell of winning. Its not a matter of being sucked into a false dichotomy, its simply about looking at the situation for what it is, and doing what I can to spread ideas/thoughts effectively. Im not going to make a 30 minute video addressing all the 3rd party candidates who would be better than Obama, especially when voting for them would simply empower McCain. Its not practical, and its unwise.
Also, if you believe I am implying that all conservatives or people who did not go to college are stupid, please rewatch the video. That is not what I am implying in the least. The fact of the matter is simply that at every fork in the road, one candidate takes the logically inferior route, and appeals to the worst in people.
