Starfleet Academy ending after 2 seasons has left some fans making an unfair comparison to how things were when The Next Generation aired its 1st Season. 10 Episodes seems hardly enough time to get to know the characters of a Star Trek series, especially when many of us were used to 22-26 episodes a season. Do Star Trek series do better when they're allowed time to develop or is the expectation that they should be good from their first episode?
