Does Pick Gauge Effect Your Metal Tone?
A sort of test of tone with different pick gauges. Its easy to hear how different picks sound on an acoustic guitar or a clean tone but on a metal tone it's a bit harder to tell. At the end of the day, your pick should be unique to you, you should not use super light or super thick picks only because your favorite guitar hero uses them. I think that there is not too much of a difference that you can hear especially in a band or a full mix, that you should not let your "pick tone" influence your pick gauge, when the guitars are this distorted. Play what feels good to you.
