TechTechPotato | Does my PC actually use Machine Learning? @TechTechPotato | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
I had a chance to visit @PCWorld and speak to Gordon about the state of machine learning and artificial intelligence we use in our machines today. Despite the promise of accelerated vector compute 5+ years ago, we're still extremely limited on how many utilities on the home PC that use home-based ML on the system without talking to the cloud. Gordon has a different take, but why haven't the most obvious use cases been covered yet?

[8:26] The obvious miss: Upscaling in Teams, Zoom
[9:25] The Word Autocomplete issue (or Art)
[11:00] Image sort
[12:20] Is the limit monetization?
