In this video I briefly address the topic of power to an external 4G antenna. At RFShop we get the question quite often, where users are not sure whether outdoor antennas will need it's own dedicated power. The answer is simple...No, not needed.
Outdoor and external 4G antennas for your WiFi router, such as the Teltonika RUT240 or any other device ( Netgear NightHawk M2, NightHawk M5 or Huawei B818 ) does not need 240v power or 12v power.
In this video I make use of the Poynting XPOL-2 as an example to illustrate the simplicity of this setup and the opportunity to get very simple and fast 4G internet
