I start every course on accent bias by asking a simple question: "𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩?"

Around 25-30% of my audience members answer "No." When I ask them why, they usually say that their accent is "neutral." But is there such a thing as a "neutral" accent?
