WEIRD GAME ALERT! It seems that dodgeball might be played differently in Japan than the US, because I'm not sure how this court setup was created. I'm using to a single line separating all of the dodgeball participants, not whatever is happening here where one team surrounds another.

I like how this game relies on reaction time to be able to grab the ball in the air, but I am confused about what is considered the optimal move to use. Sometimes just throwing the ball works and sometimes the spike gets caught. I think I was more confused about the game than enjoying it.

There is a free-for-all mode that I didn't try out. Maybe that is fun?
