When given two years left to live, Bridgette Mongeon's legacy was redefined.
When Texas Country Reporter previously met this inspirational Houston sculptor artist, we were moved by her legacy of creativity. On this visit however, following a terminal diagnosis, divorce, and house fire, Bridgette's legacy has transitioned to helping others enjoy life as much as she does. She views the turmoil in her life as a redefinition of priorities, something she's grown to become grateful for.
What does that look like? A Houston Women's Hiking Group, of course! With over 18,000 members, Bridgette has nourished a community of women reaching out to help other women, practicing intentional living on the trails.
