This video was made for the Doctor Who fans and it contains several Doctor Who references that you will be wondering about or won't get unless you are familiar with Doctor Who, Seasons 2 and 3.
The whole point of this video was to allow myself and my friends a chance to learn about the process of filmmaking as students. The intention with this video is not to be a copycat and steal the idea of the original scene. But rather to learn about the process of directing, acting, scripts, story-boarding, and screenplay. Also, neither myself or the other people in this video could never match the acting performance of the original Doctor Who cast: David Tennant, John Simm, Freema Agyeman, Billie Piper, or Matt Smith.
We did however, welcome the opportunity for a learning experience. Something where we could take a scene, and use it as sort of a template to help improve our skills in filmmaking.
Note - Replicating a scene from a popular film or television series is actually practiced by several filmmaking authorities and film schools. (such filmmaking authority, Ryan Conolly from Film Riot)
