this is my entry for the first round of BOIT, which i am so honoured to get into - i entered this contest last year and didn't get through so to get through this year just proves to me that i must be improving. ;) now i started about 10 videos for this challenge, 3 of which have already been finished and uploaded but i decided that none of them were quite what i wanted, and eventually decided on this - this song is just perfect for doctor who and the relationship between the doctor + his wonderful companions.

BOIT info~ for this challenge we had to pick one effect to couple alongside a specific group of other small effects and produce a video with only those effects. i chose TV SIMULATOR, and did one of the things i like to do best - use effects to create transitions! ;) haha! i also used plain white text (arial), colour curves, brightness + contrast, black and white and dissolve (fade through grayscale). i decided to pick this effect because while i originally thought i wanted to go for a slower/emotional video i realised that these were all the effects i needed to create whatever type of video i wanted, and so i just went with it. :) i found this challenge quite hard, i'm not going to lie, but mainly because other than colourings+velocity the effects we were allowed to use are the only ones i really use often anyway. xD but i believe i followed all the rules, and goo luck with judging to the judges! ;)

i'm not going to lie i'm nervous as hell about entering this but also really proud, and i just think this song is perfect for doctor who - please ignore the slight glitch guys in the video at 1:00 (that clip of rose HATES ME, it refuses to render. :P) and any other glitches you might spot, the deadline is tomorrow and due to my computer breaking at the worst possible time i had a lot of last minute things t do with this and so don't have time to render it again. D: but i hope everyone enjoys this, and any of you watching this who don't watch doctor who - GO WATCH IT. IT IS THE BEST SHOW EVER! there's nothing really spoilery in this so your all good. oh also, sorry for the fact that there's less martha than anyone else but i've only just started downloading series 3, so onky have a few martha eps! :3
and last but not least, i'd like to dedicate this to my awesome girls, who love doctor who as much as i do and are just the best. your all some of my best friends and you should know that by now what with the amount of rambling i've probably done at all o you over time, but if i was traveling with the doctor you guys would be my tardis team. all my love and this video to maggie, izzy, allie, emily, natalie, katie, mia and allie. you girls are the BEST! :D
