Yesterday, I stumbled across a video titled The Infamous Scene That Took 'Doctor Who (1963)' Off The Air. With 79,000 views and over 1,500 comments, I had to see what the fuss was about.
What followed was 26 minutes of AI-generated nonsense—riddled with inaccuracies, painfully stretched-out runtime, and a script that might as well have been copy-pasted from Wikipedia. And guess what? This channel has an entire formula of these clickbait, AI-generated "infamous scene" videos, all practically identical.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg… because AI Doctor Who content gets so much worse.
From ethically questionable AI reconstructions of missing episodes to an unhinged "Doctor Whoke" parody trailer, this rabbit hole goes deep. And let’s just say, when AI is used to create bizarre and disrespectful depictions of real people, it stops being funny and starts being seriously messed up.
