A brief video as requested by a few people showing how the post production was achieved.
Showing some of the many layers I created in After effects once the main 3D render was complete. I could only show around half of the layers in this video, notably missing is the "doctor who" text layer, as well as the lighting layer from the "fire" vortex.
The bottom right corner shows my first full test render of the tardis moving through the vortex. You may be able to see where I tweaked movements for the final render to make the path more fluid.
