A new **Doctor Doom statue** may have revealed a very interesting detail about *Avengers: Doomsday* and what Victor von Doom could be holding in the movie.
The statue features interchangeable arms, and one version shows Doom carrying a mysterious device. Fans are already trying to identify it, and one of the biggest theories is that Marvel could be teasing its version of the **Ultimate Nullifier**.
If that theory is correct, the device could be extremely important.
In Marvel Comics, the Ultimate Nullifier is one of the most dangerous weapons in existence. Rather than functioning like a traditional weapon, it can completely erase its target from existence. The device is famously connected to **Galactus and the Fantastic Four**, which makes its potential appearance alongside Doctor Doom even more interesting.
But there’s another possibility.
Some fans believe the object could instead have a connection to the **Library of Worlds**, an important location in Jonathan Hickman’s Marvel stories involving the Incursions that eventually lead into Secret Wars.
That connection would fit with where the MCU appears to be heading. *Avengers: Doomsday* is dealing with multiple realities, Incursions and different universes being pushed into the same conflict before the story eventually continues into *Avengers: Secret Wars*.
For now, we don’t know exactly what Doom is holding, and a statue accessory alone isn’t enough to confirm either theory. But if Marvel intentionally included this device as something Doom uses in the movie, identifying it could tell us a lot about his plan.
If it really is the Ultimate Nullifier, the biggest question becomes what Doom believes needs to be erased from existence.
What do you think Doctor Doom is holding: the Ultimate Nullifier, something connected to the Library of Worlds, or an entirely different device?
