I'm going through a percussion obsession. I hope this is a culmination! I bought this udu kind of on a whim after considering a tabla. This is much cheaper and has a bit of the feel of a tabla, I think.
Well, to be honest I'll probably end up with another of these, if I know myself!
Recorded in very low natural window light, and edited in Davinci Resolve. I boosted exposure in Resolve, which accounts for the grotty looking video if you look closely. I just couldn't be bothered to set up lighting.
Audio recorded on my Zoom H6 with the X/Y stereo mic attached. Naturally, my AC came on as I was ready to record. I did some EQ and noise reduction in Resolve. Hopefully not too damaging to the audio.
