In fall 2024 I recorded an album's worth of solo piano works. Partly as a project to feel like I was 'back in shape' pianistically, partly out of curiosity to see if I found it more rewarding than I used to. I've always been drawn to the collaborative piano side of things - I already practice so much of the time by myself, so performing solo rep ALSO by myself didn't give me the same feeling as the live energy of performing collab rep with other people.
Anyway, trip down memory lane aside, working on carving out a little space in my digital footprint for more classical things soon. Until then here's an excerpt from those recordings a couple years ago, slightly less inked and slightly more pounds. #piano #classicalmusic #impressionist
