What is the male equivalent of pretty privilege. Women get special treatment for their looks, but how do men finesse the same thing. Looking at Jay-Z, Michael B. Jordan, and the gay community (trade/DL men as well) I explore the dynamics of performing masculinity to achieve status. Masculine men gain favor in an almost toxic way amongst gay men due to the fetishization of the dl man in the closet. Especially in the Black community, Black men's ability to perform masculine behaviors corresponds to their desirability/attractiveness (Michael B. Jordan), popularity (DL men) and acceptance (Jay-Z). I've previously made a video about red pill ideology, there is no red pill toxicity in this video.
