For this video project, I went around D.C. to ask residents whether or not they liked their jobs and why they chose that particular career path. I wanted to do this type of interview-on-the-street video because for the last couple of years, "The Great Resignation" has bombarded our screens which is a phrase explaining why an increasing number of Americans are quitting their jobs since the COVID-19 pandemic began. I took it upon myself to tackle this nationwide discussion and ask locals about their feelings about their job and if they are truly satisfied with it. I loved that this project made local residents the center of the video and that I was able to get a diverse group of people to explain their views.
