If you've ever played Smash Bros and wanted to get better, or any competitive game for that matter, you've probably wondered if it is better to main one single character and stick to them, or to branch out and learn more characters to cover more matchups, learn the weaknesses of the top tiers, or just to have fun playing the game!

Well I thought it would be fun to take a look at Smash history once again to see which strategy has won more major tournaments and has had the most success in Smash 64, Melee, Brawl, Smash 4 and Ultimate.
