Seemingly a romance simulator, MiSide quickly makes it clear it's an adventure with some horror segments — and that makes it just right up Kuro's alley. A cultured gentleman who appreciates all manner anime, Kuro can also easily become a scaredy cat at the drop of a dime. All of this meaning to say, Kuro's in for the time of his life when he meets the O great Mita! So, do pirates fear anime girls? Kuro says no, but his actions indicate a lot of hell yeah.

VShojo is an American-based talent agency that focuses on promoting vtuber content creators. Its goals are to provide members with in-house tech, legal, PR, sponsors, upgrades, opportunities, social media expansion, and a positve environment. Unlike major Japanese agencies that typically debut original characters (referred to as IP's, or intellectual properties, owned by the company), Vshojo often recruits existing independent Vtubers (meaning they keep their IP, allowing them to freely stay or leave the orgnanization without fear of losing their vtuber persona). Its name derives from the combination of Vtuber and Shojo. Shojo (少女 or Shōjo or shoujo) is the Japanese word for "young girl" but can also refer to the genre of Japanese comics targeted towards young or teenage girls which tends to focus on fantasy, action, and high school romance. "Vtubers" is short for the term "virtual youtubers" but has become a catch-all term for any content creator (including those outside Youtube, despite the name) who uses a virtual avatar (such as an anime character) for videos or live stream purposes.
Note: Despite the agency name that he belongs, Kuro9 is in fact not a young girl.
