I think you can probably tell at this point that I have a real thing for imitators and anomalies which infiltrate normal life.
It just feels like such a good distillation of what it would be like if anomalies were secretly real: a random, inexplicable horror suddenly intruding on your life, and only the cold and dispassionate SCP Foundation to help you.
