So I didn't plan to make this video, but I just finished reading Tirzah Price's "Sense and Second Degree Murder" and it got me thinking and rethinking about adaptations, especially The Film That Shall Not Be Named* adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel. I loved one of these, but didn't enjoy the other, so that got me thinking about why that was so. The video is kind of rambly but I wanted to record my thoughts before I forgot them lol - so I'd love to know your thoughts. What do you think makes a good modern adaptation?
