THROWBACK TIME!
Did you think I was going to let "Vicious Lies" turn 10 years old without ANY kind of mention of it?
I'm obviously not entrenched in "The Fandom" anymore, but I thought it would be appropriate to finally upload, after all of these years, the arrangement of this tune that I used to use when I played it live at various conventions across the country.
The original version wasn't shy about its Depeche Mode influences, and this one is even less so, replete with the snare from World in my Eyes, and the 303 arpeggio that accompanied the Devotional version. Some of the versions I did of this tune at conventions would medley straight into a cover, which is part of the reason there are so many DM cues.
The background image here is from the Bronycon performance of it back in 2016.

Yes, Im still alive. Ive been a busy guy since I bought my house in September, but I promise Im still around!
I cannot even believe that Ive managed to hit 10,000 subscribers that is pretty much just unreal! THANK YOU!
To honor this occasion, I did a live cover of one of my absolute favorite brony tunes to come out of 2012, The Pickup by H8_Seed! What do I mean by live cover exactly? I mean that I did not use any quantization or computer trickery to enhance my playing what you hear is me playing directly into my DAW without any enhancements (well... other than your standard fare of EQing, compression, and FX)...
At any rate, a lot of this was from memory, and a lot of this was simply improvised. The drums were a preset pattern from my Roland Boss DR-880 drum machine, and I simply played over them! Please enjoy!

Yep, thats right, I did a remix of Becoming Popular too ... except mine will transport you back in time! My intention was to channel the production and songwriting powerhouse found in Stock, Aitken and Waterman (if you dont know who they are, google them).

Two adventurers find themselves lost deep inside a forbidden cavern, unaware that within lurks a dangerous, sleeping dragon! Peril ensues as they try to escape its clutches, destroying a priceless artifact in the process which lifts the dragons curse and transforms the creature back into the beautiful woman shed once been in a previous life...
This is the unreleased official score I composed for the animation short Molten Mayhem. Unfortunately the short was never finished, and will likely never see the light of day, but that doesnt mean you cant enjoy the soundtrack, right?
I took a lot of cues from Tangerine Dreams score for Legend on this one, relying on sampled instrument sounds out of both the Fairlight and Emax libraries as well as lush beds of synthesizers and arpeggios to complete the aesthetic. This is my homage to classic 80s fantasy soundtracks.

Hey guys, thanks for your patience. This is my long-anticipated collaboration with the one and only Feather! This time I went full circle and opted for an all out homage to proper 80s Minneapolis R&B, ala Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Feather and I wrote the lyrics together, and she did an AMAZING job singing them.
The story here? In short, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom have both gotten their cutie marks, leaving Scootaloo to continue exploring her vocation alone.
