For cinematic drum & bass enthusiasts worldwide, the return of Fred V & Grafix is cause for celebration. The legendary duo teams up after eight years to release their collaborative single ‘Rain Is Falling’ in conjunction with Hospital30 affairs.
‘Rain Is Falling’ is ethereal and soundtrack-esque - acoustic guitar and vocals transport listeners to Fred V & Grafix’s roots first and foremost as musicians. This use of live instruments brings a different form of intimacy and authenticity to the record, one not typically seen in drum & bass but ever-present on the duo’s storied back catalogue.
The guitar elements are then traded for punchy drums and a pushy synth hook, then stripped back again - the track is comprised of two very different worlds, but the two manage to make them work in unison.

A debut four-way labelmate collaboration, the single boasts that authentic P Money x Whiney flavour, with even more fire added to the mix courtesy of Fred V and Doktor. Lyrically addressing themes of burnout and the struggles of daily life, P Money and Doktor flow seamlessly over the crisp, cinematic production provided by Whiney and Fred V.
‘Crash ‘N Burn’ is the penultimate step towards P Money & Whiney’s upcoming Midnight Club Mixtape, building upon their most recent single ‘New Life’ in July and previous singles ‘Bye Bye Officer’ and ‘Burning’ with Lady Leshurr earlier this year.
