A DMOS customer sent in a badly deformed Delta Steel and we show that even with a shovel, seemingly beyond repair, the Delta Shovel can be restored and be put back in service as the perfect offroad and survival tool.
DMOS Shovel blades are cold bent steel and while they are not as tough as a forged or cast blade, they still are extremely tough and can be maintained.
We also did some validation and testing again on our own (see DMOS Delta Durability video) to prove that the shovel was intentionally damaged. In our testing, we also used an overhead swing to strike a Rogue Hoe against the rock and chipped it.
Shovels are not striking tool and ANY tool can be destroyed if you set out to do so. That said, DMOS works as designed... and will last a lifetime if you maintain your tool.
