If you're watching this and thinking "this guy has no fucking idea how to play this character", you wouldn't be wrong about that. Still learning and getting used to a few things, but I thought this clear ended up being okay enough to upload. When I become more competent at some things I may go for a retake on this mission.
I try not to use the DT buff too often, because the pets start attacking on their own and it wouldn't be very interesting if you just constantly juiced them up and basically let the game play itself, y'know? I mostly try to restrict it to only certain points, and even then I still sometimes try to let my inputs take priority over whatever the AI is doing. It's still a bad thing to use and I'll be aiming for full manual control of them in other missions that involve V.
I can easily say I infinitely prefer playing Dante and Nero over V. For the new type of character V is he's not horrible, but I think he could've been better in some aspects. My main gripes are just from the delay on some things like when Shadow can attack again after dodging; since you have to wait a few seconds your openings are usually just a portion of what they are with a character that can attack immediately after dodging. Generally I just don't like the feel of his gameplay compared to the other characters, I like being the one who attacks, not the one who sits back and commands others to attack.
