DE stands for Definitive Edition. It is a Cheat Engine table that modifies the gameplay to make it more lined up with the other, more well regarded DMC games. Namely, making Melees more fun to use, while weakening guns to a more reasonable degree.
Beat Lucia normal. But didn't unlock hard. Googled for a bit, turns out to unlock hard you need to clear both Lucia AND Dante Normal.
Fuck that. Luckily this game was from an era where cheat codes were a thing, now we're playing Dante at hard. I will be attempting DMD later on.
