Boris DusnokiIn today's video I will be building a Variable Lab Bench Power Supply KIT that I got from AliExpress - http://y.sudokin.com/psu or Banggood - http://y.sudokin.com/bpsu
With a range of 0-30V and 0-3A it really satisfies all my hobbyist needs, plus it was a very fun kit to build.
The power supply kit cost me just $5.29 so apart from the CPU cooler that I had laying around and the used AC 24V transformer I bought locally for around $10 this wasn't a very expensive project.
In the future videos I will be making an encasing for it, adding a display to monitor the voltage and amperage but for now I just wanted it working an functional.

In today's video I will finally complete my Arduino based wired light controller. I decided, since I have plenty of inputs/output pins on the mega, I would use the same Arduino to not only control the relays that you can connect to your home lighting, but also add inputs for physical buttons that you can press in order to control those relays, or any other functionality you want in your smart house. That way you can have a dedicated, wired light controllers for all the lights in your house.

#homeautomation #arduino #rj45Headless install Raspbian and Peter Scargills Script on Raspberry Pi with WiFi, No Keyboard, GuideBoris Dusnoki2019-05-07 | $2 for 5 PCBs Any Color jlcpcb.com
A guide on how to install Raspbian Stretch Light and the famous script from Peter Scargill for installing Node Red, NodeJS, MQTT, Grafana, Webmin, Java, HA Bridge, log2ram... on a Raspberry Pi Zero W or any other Raspberry Pi for that matter.
As many of you don’t have a usb to go cable for the raspberry to add a keyboard and change the configs manually, and because some of you asked if I could make a guide for a headless install of the official Raspbian Stretch Light image on the Raspberry Pi Zero W, here it is.
In this video I will continue with my home automation system. I created a 21 channel 12v relay driver board shield for an arduino mega 2560. It uses the same MQTT broker and Node Red server that are setup on my raspberry pi from my previous video. It also uses the w5100 ethernet shield for connecting to the home network and the MQTT broker.

With this small box I could control my tv, led strip, sound system and lights. It would also monitor the inside humidity and temperature as well as get real time data from an external API for the outside humidity and temperature and display them nicely in a graph. I even save all these values to a local database and display those values in a chart based on the date I choose.

This is the first kit I've built after getting involved into electronics a bit more as a hobby over the past couple of months.
Not a very difficult kit to build. If you have the correct tools and a bit of practice in soldering you should be fine.
Lot's of interesting tips and tricks in the video as the first kit of this kind I build failed miserably so hopefully you guys won't make the same mistakes as I did which I talk about in the video.
Disclamer: This is my first video on youtube of this kind so it's quite a learning experience for me as well :)
