Remember around 6 months ago when Nvidia revealed DLSS 5 to the world, which was their next generation neural rendering technology. And basically, the idea is that Generative AI is now being pushed directly into the graphics pipeline, where it can generate things like realistic lighting, materials, you know, these tiny visual details in real time. They got a lot of backlash over this. It got leaked, and this was within a pre release build of NBA 2k27 of all games. Modders immediately snatched that code and built a way to force inject DLSS 5 into dozens of existing games using ReShade.
