In this video i take a look at a 1995 vintage Quantel HAL Express and Dylan 2 disk array.

The HAL was a standard definition video compositing system to create adverts, idents, stings and program intros. It has all the functionality of the Quantel Paintbox and Harriet but with the ability to work with uncompressed video.

Appologies for the abrupt ending to the video, i had intended to be a 2nd part for it but wasn't able to make it before the system went back to it's owner.
