In this video i experiment reflowing the RAM mounted on top of the Snapdragon CPU in my old Nexus 5X phone that was bootlooping.

Update 17-01-2013: Although the phone does seem to be working ok it does occasionally reboot, do i don't think this is any kind of permanent fix. Maybe reballing with leaded solder would be a solution but it's really not worth the effort to do that. So i decided to wipe the phone again and resell it on ebay as faulty.
