In this video i teardown a shorted International Rectifier IRKT230-16 SCR/SCR MAGN-A-pak Power Module. Capable of handling surge currents of 7500 Amps at 1600 Volts.
Removed from a broken Magstim 200 Magnetic Stimulator where it was used to switch a large high voltage capacitor to a magnetic coil.
