Gear used for demo (signal chain order):
1. Gladius Restarius - electric guitar
2. Taurus Stomp Head 4 Silver - guitar amp
3. DL David Laboga 2x12" Standard series DL212FS-PS - cabinet
4. Audio-technica ATM650 - dynamic microphone
5. Presonus Audio box - usb audio interface
Microphone position details:
- distance: 7 cm from the cab grill
- off axis - about 30 degrees
- between coil and cone (directed to the coil)
DL 212 Standard cabinet is dedicated fo rock/hard rock. Loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers
At the beginning of the video You can hear a sample of double tracking - mix with the drums. Exact EQ settings are on the screen. All other parts of this demo are mixed without any EQ. Just a bit of reverb to make a natural room feel.
Microphone distance and position was adjusted to get most reference recording of what You actually hear being close, in front of the cab (at the speakers height).
