January is in full swing...reaching temperatures in the single digits!!! 🥶
This was a fun tune to remix, lots of fun melodies to maneuver around! I love playing around with, what i would consider, "world" instrumentation; ethnic flutes, djembes, kalimbas, sitars, etc... something about them are so pleasing to ear, especially when combined with EDM! Hope you enjoy this unique take on DK Pass from Mario Kart DS! ❄️

Oh man, where do I begin with how awesome this remix is?! @Equalyze & I decided to remix something from the Paper Mario franchise once the TTYD remake was announced; and he commented indicating his love for the original Paper Mario N64. We had a few other options in mind, but ultimately the Toad Town theme felt right! Not only that, but EQs musical genius suggested the idea of incorporating all the Toad Town variations into the remix!

This is literally my new favorite song. THIS IS SO GROOVY!!! Such a simple, yet catchy piano pattern can really bring out the freak inside! 📚🎹
There is no better genre to have picked to remix this song other than Electro Swing; this combination of old-timey brass instruments & EDM is slowly becoming my favorite genre to produce! Of course I still threw in some classic P2 modernization, but overall I am SUPER proud of this remix!
