Tony Northrup covers the latest photo news, including whether Sony or Canon is currently winning the camera wars and the MASSIVE decline in camera sales that has pushed sales back to the level of the 1970s. Tony uses aragon.ai to generate professional headshots from snapshots - but it doesn't work as advertised. Adobe drops perpetual licenses on Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements - now if you "buy" them, you have to buy them again in 3 years, so you're basically paying upfront for a 3-year subscription.
Tony also covers the new Phase One XC40, a $60k 150 megapixel fixed-lens camera. That sounds crazy, but it's WAY less crazy than the XC24, because the XC40 has a 24mm-equivalent lens. The XC24 had an ultrawide 13mm lens that couldn't be changed.
