DJI just launched something I didn’t expect — a robot vacuum. It’s called DJI Romo P, and it’s the world’s first fully transparent robot vacuum that actually thinks like a drone.
In this video, I share my first impressions after a few days of testing — from setup and mapping to cleaning performance, noise, app controls, and of course… the Wife Acceptance Test.
DJI Romo P combines LiDAR, optical sensors, and precision navigation from DJI’s drones to move with millimetre accuracy — avoiding cables, toys, and even tiny objects around your home.
It vacuums, mops, and then returns to its self-cleaning base station, where it automatically washes, dries, and disinfects the mop pads.
You’ll see how it handles door thresholds, app settings, custom cleaning zones, and even how quiet (or not) it really is. This video is all about real-world experience — what works, what doesn’t, and how it feels to bring DJI’s tech from the sky to the floor.
