One of the features of the DJI Mini 5 Pro is being able to set a dynamic home point that will update in realtime to where the controller is located. This can be very useful while flying a drone on the move, perhaps tracking or maybe you are on the water. In the event of a failsafe RTH or manually initiated RTH the drone will come back to your current location. This feature is also available in the Mavic 4 Pro but up until last week was only accessible while using the RC Pro 2 controller. A recent firmware update has brought the dynamic home point feature to the standard RC 2 and can now be used on both controllers. In this video I am demonstrating how to set and enable a dynamic home point and showing you how it works using the DJI Mini 5 Pro and RC2.
