Here is a little Django , Hendrix , Clapton and Page .
I broke both legs in a car accident when I was 17 crushing the right leg so I was in bed for over a year (oh the shit I put my mom through and she was sick at the time but she wouldnt go to the Drs till I was on my feet again , thats a whole other story ) Jimmy Page was my idol , there was no youtube , no tabs , just you a your record player moving the needle back a hundred times to learn licks ! I still think in his prime he was one of the best and def the coolest LOL. I never listened to much Clapton or hendrix it was all Jimmy page LOL help . There playing just sunk in and I know there are 3000 youtubers who play all this stuff perfect but i look at it as just enterpret it get some key phrases and go for it . I could play stairway to heaven solo (not perfect) when I was 19 and was just going on memory im sure this could be picked apart too LOL im old I dont care i just went for it and on a tele just like Jimmy !
Ok this starts with a nylon string version of Django's Minor Swing the first guitar solo. It took me forever to learn that and still i wish I could improvise on that style freely but i do hear his influence popping up in everything I play . I tried to copy solo note for note. Django is the greatest guitar playr of all time period . I can improvise a little on it but I would really have to woodshed and I dont even practice anymore . I Should start I cant force it though . My mind aint in the right place these days . I feel an overall sadness all the time , like people just dont care about each other . AND i deeply apologize if I am not present on uploads. Im trying to catch up !
