The DMC USA Scratch Finals were established in 2014. It is usually vinyl only but since it was online this year - we allowed anything and everything. This is not a category at the DMC World level. Since it began 6 years ago, 3 DJs have dominated the DMC US Scratch Finals: Prolifix, DJ IQ and Rayted-R.

Much respect to all of the judges who took time to select their top 10 from the 30 competitors who sent in 1 minute sets. Our prestigious panel of judges includes

GrandWizzard Theodore, DJ Johnny Juice, Enfoe, Spictakular, DJ IQ, DJ Quest, DJ Excess, Toadstyle, DJ Shortkut & DJ Qbert. Judges to pick their top 10.

Thanks to all of the super talented DJs who sent in 1 minute sets include Atom Spacific, CJ Scratch, DJ Axis Pro, DJ Dash 313, DJ Krazy Kuts, DJ Lil Bastard, Figgie Steez aka DJSteez + J.P. Gunnz, Jsteez, Logical styles and Nick Diablo!

The top 8 DJs advanced to the 2020 DMC Technics USA Scratch Finals and submitted 2 minute finals routines. A few top competitors fell out of the competition including Precision who dropped out to focus on Supremacy and Dan One, due to a grueling work schedule, wasn’t able to get his set in on time. One DJ was recovering from COVID19. Another was recovering from surgery. Life during this pandemic has been challenging to say the least. Thanks to each and every DJ who took time to battle despite all of the obstacles in the way! Here’s how the top 7 did with the judges!
