The entire DJ culture as we know it today wouldn't exist if not for DJ AM. His encyclopedic knowledge of different genres pioneered what is known now as "mash-ups", ushered a new vitality to the LA club scene, set the market value for what a DJ today earns, and even DJ'ed for Iron Man.
As part of the "Scratch DJ Academy Philly Summer Movie Series", the Philadelphia Premiere of "As I Am" featured a post-movie Q+A session with with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Cosmo Baker. We want to thank the filmmakers for this tremendous experience and insight into AM's life.
