Marlon Moore, known as DJ ASAP, and his wife LaShonda Moore were sentenced on June 9, 2026 to 40 years each in federal prison for running Blessings in No Time (BINT), a fraudulent chain-referral pyramid scheme. The DOJ says the scheme targeted people during the COVID-19 pandemic and caused more than $30 million in losses to over 10,000 victims nationwide.

Federal prosecutors said BINT promised people an 800% return on a $1,400 “blessing” payment, but it was structured around “playing boards” where new recruits’ money paid earlier participants. The Moores were convicted in January 2026 of conspiracy, wire fraud, and money laundering.
