JJR dips into his thrift store bought cook book and makes a vintage birthday cake with his own store bought icing hack. You won't want to miss this funfetti cake with old school carnival decorations! The boys also stop and try another fan requested vintage dinner recipe that James describes as "yuck"! Can JJR revive this cake, and make it actually taste good? Only one way to find out!

Store Bought Icing Hack
This recipe can be used to make any store bought icing taste more like homemade buttercream

What you need.....

2 lbs. ( 908 g) Store bought icing
1 lbs (453 g) Unsalted butter (at room temperatrue)
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract


How to make this.....
Place icing, vanilla and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
Cream on medium speed until smooth.
For light and fluffy icing, switch to the whip attachment and beat on high for 2 minutes.

Saucy Twist Pork Dish

4 ounces uncooked corkscrew-shaped macaroni
½ cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1 Tbs butter or margarine
1 can (12 ounces) Spam, cut into cubes
1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup ketchup
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. In large skillet, cook and stir onion and green pepper in butter until onion is tender. Stir in macaroni and remaining ingredients. Pour into ungreased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Cover; bake 30 minutes.
