A project to showcase the 6 CH "Flysky" Receiver With 2 Brushed ESCs Module converting a small chuck glider.
๐ง Multi-function Board Setup: The project utilizes a multi-function board capable of controlling two brushed motors and six PWM channels. The board is a compact solution for controlling the glider's electrical systems.
๐ Power Supply Considerations: Various power solutions are being tested, including modified battery packs with gold-plated connectors for better efficiency compared to traditional JST or pH connectors.
โ๏ธ Wing and Control Surface Modifications: The control surfaces are cut out based on standard guide marks, with a single servo managing the ailerons and elevator.
๐ ๏ธ Servo and Control Rods: Servos from an old B-17 model are repurposed, and special adhesive tape is used for securing control surfaces.
๐ก Antenna and Receiver Positioning: The antenna orientation may create signal challenges, and the optimal placement will be tested in real flight conditions.
๐ Flight Tests and Adjustments: Initial tests reveal stability issues, requiring center of gravity (CoG) adjustments and modifications to control surfaces.
โ๏ธ Differential Thrust Control: The twin motors provide additional maneuverability through differential thrust, aiding directional control.
๐ฏ Final Adjustments and Future Improvements: Adjustments to the center of gravity, motor angles, and aerodynamics are necessary to enhance stability and flight performance.
