Thank you so much for joining me today. I have a fun DIY project for you, i found this old wood sign in the trash and wanted to turn it into a lovely moody painting.
This video is a tutorial. I show how I start my paintings and the process I used to complete them. I have some tips and tricks for you in this video. However, that being said how you Paint is how YOU Paint I wouldn’t expect you to Paint the way I do. I hope this video gives you ideas on how to start painting and how to develop your own style and skills with these little tips and tricks. I’m hoping that this video will also take the fear out of painting with acrylic paint since acrylic paint is so extremely forgiving. It’s a wonderful medium to work with you. Make a mistake. You can easily go straight over top of it as soon as it dries, it blends well it dries quickly. You can also add a medium that will extend the drying time of your acrylic paints. If you do prefer to work with a little bit more Lexanne dry time it’s called extender.
