Want to turn your favorite die cuts into stencils? This quick and easy DIY stencil hack lets you get even more use from your dies—and you can reuse the stencil for future cards!
In this video, I’m sharing how I created a simple DIY stencil from the leftover cardstock packaging inserts and a mushroom die set. I used the homemade stencil to add layered purple mushrooms to the inside of a handmade card, using residual ink from my blending brushes to create a soft, subtle effect.
I also share a peek at a card I made during an #altenew class with Amy Rysavy from @PrairiePaperandInk where I took the original purple monochromatic design and made it my own with—you guessed it—SHINE! 💜
