This DIY Steel Bench with a marble top would work well inside or outside and is a great project for beginner welders. I really the connection detail I did with 2-inch angle steel. Large format natural stone tile like these 12-inch by 24-inch marble tiles I got from home depot give it the upscale look of natural stone. This modern steel design would also work great as the base for a media cabinet.
