this is a really easy Diy build on how to make a diy softbox so that you can diffuse your photography lights more. you can upscale this build for larger lights as well. I made DIY studio lights and then made this diy softbox for my home studio and they work great. the entire video was shot with my diy lights with this homemade softbox. using this diy softbox on the smaller light worked great as well. the two angles you need to remember are 50 and 130. start by measuring your light source to make the box fit around it. start with those measurements and measure up 90 degrees from there equal lengths on both sides. so now you have two parallel lines on the bottom line the one with your original measurements draw the 130 angle up to the top line and now you should have a trapezoid cut it out and put tinfoil on it. do this for all four sides. next with help assemble the four sides together. hot glue works best and gives you a nice strong fast bond. after it is all glues together add some freezer paper or diffusion paper to the front of the diy softbox and make something.
