In this video we're taking a look at a DIY repair on a Dimplex DXDF20 2000 watt fan heater that has an issue with the blades catching against the cowling. Everything else on the machine is still working fine and the cause of the blades catching is a design fault / incorrect choice of material in manufacture. A simple brace fitted to the rear of the heater fixes the problem, leaving the unit working as it should do.

Opening and servicing electrical equipment should only be done by competent people, if you aren't sure then don't carry out repairs, instead take your unit to an authorised repairer.
