Inspired by the Tilta Speed Pan, I wanted to see if I could DIY a Remote pan head with part already have at home like the Video head, Nuclues Nano II and various other parts and get a feel for what possible use cases there would be for such a device on a film set. There definitely a lot of things you can use it for, like remote panning a camera from a distance like for a remote camera on a live stream, panning camera on top of a tall C-stand, but also more accurate whip pans. Able to build this with just a few parts or have these parts in my AC bag, definitely give a lot of possibilities for more creative cinematography.
